Polo holidays and training
Professional coaching and quality horses in Underberg, in South Africa’s Southern Drakensberg. For complete beginners through to experienced match players.
Brett Watson oversees the training, with a focus on riding, horse control, swing, positioning, tactics and decision making.
A full training day includes a theory, tactics or video session, two 30-minute stick & ball sessions and four afternoon practice chukkas. The programme is adjusted for your experience, weather and fatigue.
Stay on the farm in a private en suite room, with meals arranged as part of your itinerary. Partners and families are welcome.

Horses for rental and sale
We match horses to your riding ability, playing level and the polo you want to play.
The string includes reliable schoolmasters for beginners and horses suited to experienced players, including medium and high goal polo.
Ride a selection during your stay, or enquire about horses for a tournament. Rental arrangements depend on the event, dates and your requirements.
Selected polo ponies are also available for sale. Tell us what you are looking for so we can discuss suitable horses and arrange a trial.
Polo events and club support
We organise polo events and assist clubs, teams and organisers with players, horses and polo logistics.
Support can include tournament planning, professional players, horse rental, umpiring and coaching. We also help organisers work through governing-body requirements and player and horse welfare arrangements.
For corporate groups, we can arrange polo activities and team building.
